BEIJING, April 27 (Xinhua) -- The Party School of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee held a graduation ceremony for 254 officials in Beijing on Saturday.
Liu Yunshan, president of the CPC's top Party school and a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, attended the ceremony and awarded certificates to representatives of the officials who completed the school's 2013 spring semester program.
Li Jingtian, the school's executive vice president, called on the graduates to deepen their studies of the essence of the 18th CPC National Congress and the National People's Congress annual session, as well as maintain their adherence to hard and practical work to make the nation thrive.
Li also told officials to improve their work style and maintain close ties with the public.
Graduates said their studies have helped them to better understand the principles and polices of the Party and improved their theoretical knowledge, leadership capabilities and ideological realm.
