Chen Deming elected ARATS president

BEIJING, April 26 (Xinhua) -- The mainland-based Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits (ARATS) elected Chen Deming as its president on Friday.

Prior to being elected ARATS president, Chen served as Minister of Commerce.
