A faithful rendition of "Turandot" by renowned Italian composer Giacomo Puccini has taken to the stage at the Guangzhou Opera House. Top performers and dancers from home and abroad have joined forces to present this spectacular experience.

The classic story revolves around the relentless pursuit of love, as the young prince Calaf falls for the cold Princess Turandot and risks his life to marry her. His perseverance pays off however, and the two are finally consummated in marriage.

Acclaimed soprano Lise Lindstrom plays the role of Turandot, while Prince Calaf is played by celebrated tenor Marco Berti. They have partnered with major Chinese symphony orchestras and a celebrated dance troupe.
