International film festival held in Russia's Khabarovsk

VLADIVOSTOK, May 22 (Xinhua) -- The 22nd Golden Knight international film festival kicked off on Wednesday in Russia's Far Eastern city of Khabarovsk.

More than 200 films of different genres from 30 countries will be screened during the nine-day festival, the RIA Novosti news agency reported.

The festival also includes master classes, roundtable discussions and meetings with festival participants and guests.

The Golden Knight festival was launched in 1991 and since 2010 has been a part of the Slavic Arts Forum, which features cinema, theater, music, literature and visual arts.
