A Jordan boy's love of China

Mustafaal Share'a, a 22-year-old Jordanian, has been learning Chinese for four years in College of International Education of Shenyang Normal University.

At first, it was Chinese martial arts movies and movie stars like Jackie Chan and Jet Li aroused interest of the Jordanian youngster in Chinese culture and his interest helped him win Confucius Institute Scholarship in 2009.

Within 4-year study in China, he not only mastered Chinese but also learned many other China-related skills such as calligraphy, martial arts and playing the pipa, a four-stringed Chinese musical instrument.

As graduation time approaches, Mustafaal Share'a plans to further his study in Peking University so as to make a contribution to bridge Arabian and Chinese cultures.
