Myanmar to host international Sepaktakraw tournament

YANGON, June 20 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar will host an international Sepaktakraw tournament including five Southeast Asian countries at Wunna Theikhti Stadium in Myanmar's Nay Pyi Taw, local daily reported Thursday.

The tournament, to be held from July 3-7, has also attracted strong competitors from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore, said the Eleven Daily.

There will be four categories in the tournament.

At present, a total of 22 men and 18 women are under training in Nay Phi Taw.

In September, the Myanmar Sepaktakraw team will also take part in Thai King's Cup Sepaktakraw tournament.
