Macao franchise expo attracts 160 exhibitors

MACAO, July 12 (Xinhua) -- About 160 exhibitors from about 14 countries or regions participated in the Macao Franchise Expo 2013, which opened here Friday.

The three-day event attracted exhibitors from European and Asian countries such as France, Britain, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore.

Companies of various industries, including food and beverages, leisure and entertainment, retail, services and education, showcased their brands at the expo.

Co-organized by the city's Trade and Investment Promotion Institute and other associations and institutions, this year's franchise expo has a total exhibition area of 6,000 square meters with over 230 booths.

A main forum, business matching sessions and products/services presentations will also be held during the expo.
