BEIJING, May 22 (Xinhua) -- China's state-owned enterprises (SOEs) saw their total profit growth slow to 5.3 percent year on year to reach 689.13 billion yuan (111.32 billion U.S. dollars) in the first four months, the Ministry of Finance announced Wednesday.
The growth rate slowed from 7.7 percent recorded in the first quarter this year.
