China's industrial profit growth continues to accelerate

BEIJING, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- Major Chinese industrial firms saw their profit growth continue to accelerate in November, official data showed Thursday.

Profits at industrial companies with annual revenues of more than 20 million yuan (3.18 million U.S. dollars) surged 22.8 percent year on year in November to reach 638.5 billion yuan, compared with the 20.5 percent rate recorded in October, the National Bureau of Statistics said in a statement.
