$12b contracts inked at Zhuhai air show

Contracts worth $11.8 billion were signed, with 202 aircraft sold, during the 9th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, which was held from Nov 13 to Nov 18 in Zhuhai, Guangdong province.

The amount of the 30 contracts signed during this year's air show is the highest among the event's past eight sessions.

Almost 650 exhibitors from 39 countries and regions attended the air show, and as many as 338,000 visitors were present, Xinhua reported on Monday.

The next air show will be held from Nov 11 to Nov 16 in 2014 in Zhuhai.
