(CNTV)

13:26, November 15, 2012

Let’s bring in Mr. Shen Minggao, chief economist of greater China at Citi Bank for his views on where China’s economy is likely headed in the next decade and Mr. Shen joins us from Hong Kong.

Q1: With the conclusion of the 18th CPC National Congress, it’s imperative that China finds new engines of growth in addition to rebalancing its economy in order to achieve the country’s economic targets. We saw the resource, construction and real estate sectors as some of the dominant engines of growth in the past decade..but going forward, which other sectors should China look at to drive growth?

Q2: Market-oriented economic reforms were stressed at the meeting. How can China speed up this procedure.
