U.S. dollar little changed against major currencies

NEW YORK, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar was little changed against major currencies on Monday amid continuous concerns over a "fiscal cliff" in the U.S. and Greek debt situation.

The Greek parliament on Monday approved the 2013 budget which included further austerity measures to secure new bailout fund from international creditors, while it is still facing redemption of 5 billion euro (6.36 billion U.S. dollars) treasury bills on Nov. 16.

Greece may get two more years to meet its budget targets but the extension may cause the euro zone an additional 32.6 billion euro (about 41.4 billion U.S. dollars).
