TOKYO, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- Japan's first-half current account surplus logged a record low of 2,721.4 billion yen of fiscal 2012, according to the report released by Finance Ministry Thursday.
The surplus in the balance of international payments dropped 41. 3 percent from a year earlier, marking the smallest number of the April-September period since comparable data became available in 1985.
The government's preliminary report said, the balance of goods trade came to a deficit of 2,619.1 billion yen.
