BRUSSELS, Dec. 29 -- European Council President Herman Van Rompuy on Sunday condemned the deadly attack in Volgograd, southern Russia.
"I condemn in the strongest terms the heinous terrorist attack in Volgograd this morning," said Van Rompuy, "I transmit my heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and my solidarity to the government and people of Russia."
A female suicide bomber blew herself up at a railway station in southern Russia on Sunday, killing at least 14 people, authorities said.
