PARIS, July 16 (Xinhua) -- A neo-Nazi linked to Norwegian mass killer Anders Behring Breivik was arrested by French police on Tuesday in Correze, in southwestern France, local media reported.
Kristian Vikernes, who is also a convicted murderer from Norway, had in the past received a copy of a manifesto from Breivik who killed 77 people in a bombing in central Oslo and a shooting spree on a nearby island in July 2011, media reports said.
He was placed into custody and anti-terrorist units were searching his home for explosives and weapons, radio RTL said.
The report added his wife, who was enrolled in a shooting club, has recently bought four guns.
Vikernes, called also "Varg" (Wolf), was one of 530 supporters to receive Breivik's manifesto of xenophobic, racist and terrorist ideas, according to the report.
The man was sentenced to 21 years in prison in Norway in the 90's for stabbing a friend. He was released in 2009 and moved to France.
