6.8-magnitude quake hits Sea of Okhotsk: CENC

BEIJING, May 24 (Xinhua) -- A 6.8-magnitude earthquake jolted the Sea of Okhotsk at 10:56 p.m. Friday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The epicenter, with a depth of 630 km, was monitored at about 52.2 degrees north latitude and 151.6 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement.
