Demobilized soldiers with college backgrounds welcomed in Beijing

BEIJING, May 23, (ChinaMil) -- A total of 1,409 job positions offered by 267 enterprises and institutions are available for more than 500 demobilized soldiers with college educations at a job fair opened especially for them on the morning of Tuesday in Beijing.

"With university educations and experience in the military, the demobilized soldiers from higher learning institutes show relatively high comprehensive qualities and are warmly welcomed by companies," Feng Shaojing, an official of the Beijing Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, told PLA Daily. The Bank of Beijing prepared 10 job positions for the demobilized soldiers with college degrees, Feng added.

The demobilized soldiers with college educations complying with the employment conditions of Beijing are classified into two categories: One refers to those who joined the military when studying at colleges in Beijing and then completed their study at the colleges in 2013 after finishing their services in the military and the other includes those who joined the army from Beijing in the year they graduated from colleges and finished their services in the military in 2012.
