2 killed by lightning strike in northern Turkey

ANKARA, May 15 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed by a lightning strike on Wednesday in Turkey's northern province of Tokat, local media reported.

The two, from the same family, were reportedly hit to death on a tobacco farm in the village of Endikpinari in Tokat's Erbaa district when a bolt of lightning struck the area.

Another two, also from the same family, were injured by the lightning strike and taken to the Erbaa State Hospital.
