A special arts lesson for village children

In a weekend in September, several arts teachers traveled three hours to bring their teaching materials and tools from Beijing to the destination — the arts school in Duan Village in Hebei, which is 100 kilometers away from Beijing.

They went there for a group of children in Duan village who want to learn painting and playing musical instrument. From these children’s warm smile, one can see that they want to learn not for higher scores in school’s examination, but for their eagerness for arts.

Under teachers’ instructions, the students soon succeeded in making sound with flute, cornet, horn, violin, cello, drum, and other instruments.
