Private elderly home in Changsha encounters operating loss

Although various types of social capitals have rushed into the senior car market, some private elderly homes are suffering loss.

Junxiaotianxia Hunan pension service company invested 30 million yuan ($4.9 million) to build an elderly home near the Chima lake in Changsha, capital of central China's Hunan province in March 2013. According to the company's presentation, the elderly home occupied an area of 14 hectares, with 300 beds, reading room, cyber space and medical center. However, it was found empty during a long time. According to the general manager, since its foundation, the elder home received only some tourists for short term stay. No old people choose to stay there.
