National Chinese Input Contest launched in Beijing

In order to inherit Chinese character culture, promote spirit of patriotism and boost great development and prosperity of socialist culture, Guangming Daily and China Association of Inventions(CAI) held launching ceremony of the National Chinese Input Contest at Guangming Daily in Beijing.

Luo Gan, previous member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau, Chen Kuiyuan, former vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Zhao Qizheng, director of the Information Office of China's State Council, send message to the ceremony.

Chen Kuiyuan is the general consultant of the contest; Zhu Lilan, Zhao Qizheng, lieutenant general Li Dongheng, Zhao Derun, Cai Jiren and Gao Jianyun are the consultant; Xu Juyan, member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, is the chief scientist of the contest.

The contest is jointly hosted by Wangma Group, GMW.cn, Xinyang Normal University and PingQiao district People's government of Xinyang. The Internet Bureau of the State Internet Information Office and National Museum of Chinese Writing (NMCW) are the guide.

With the theme of "Science, justice and harmony", everyone could take part in the contest.
