We should be well prepared for our wedding and make ourselves the most brilliant host at the ceremony. But a memorable wedding doesn’t mean everything should be luxurious.

I attended quite a few weddings, which were splendid but not fragrant; the bride woken up so early to do makeup and hair, and the groom had to go though the tough questions from bridal’s families and friends before they were allowed to go to ceremony. The wedding day had been planned for a long time in order to get proper dress, a proper hotel, a reliable wedding company, and a luxurious motorcade. The newlyweds and their parents had exhausted their energy and money on wedding preparation.
　　
Grooms and brides or their parents may enjoy the prestige of having a luxurious wedding, but is not the reason for people to get married. People get marry because they find the perfect partner and want to declare their love to each other and are eager to announce their marriage in front of their families and friends. So I sincerely call for people to have a simple but meaningful wedding.
