The production features dialogue written by Gordy, with music and lyrics from the Motown back catalogue. Former Supreme Mary Wilson said she was happy the history of Motown has finally come to Broadway.
In addition to the Motown legends in attendance, plenty of fans were also on hand including actress Jane Fonda, who gave the show a glowing review.
