The 45-year-old Li Wencheng comes from a village in Xinyang, Henan and now works at the construction site of subway line 7. As a headman, he has to wake up earlier than his co-workers and check the work in the night. According to Li, the construction is on in the whole day and three workers in the same position work in turns. Li does not care about the dense fog even many of his co-workers caught cold.

Since he was 17 years old, he has been tying the concrete iron which needs many techniques. Now as a headman, he earns 3,000 yuan a month which makes him satisfied, because when he was a freshman, he could only get 1 yuan a day. There are five people in his family and they are in serious straits. Every month he will send his wages back to home.

He is away from his home for a long time, so this Spring Festival he will return home to reunite with his family.

He shows no care about the hazardous PM2.5. Believing his good physical conditions, he never worries about it. After the talk, he went back to the construction site.
