Happy Chinese New Year from the Backstreet Boys

The Backstreet Boys will perform on a gala hosted by China's Liaoning Television to celebrate the Chinese New Year, Sohu.com reports.

The Boys were in Shenyang, the provincial capital of Liaoning, on Thursday, January 17, 2013 to prerecord the show, which will air on February 8. The 2013 Chinese New Year begins on February 10.

Earlier this month, the band opened an account on Tencent Weibo, a popular microblogging service in China.
