New Year Party held in Shepherd's Field children's village in China's Tianjin (8)

A little girl sitting in a wheelchair recieves gifts from the Santa Claus at the Shepherd's Field children's village in north China's Tianjin Municipality, Dec. 17, 2012. Tim Baker, founder of Shepherd's Field, and his staff members organized a New Year Party for children in the village. The year of 2012 means a lot to Shepherd's Field. In total 31 children were adopted by Chinese and foreign families, among whom three were adoped by Chinese families, making 2012 the year the most children were adopted by Chinese families. Currently, 58 children live here and more will come. (Xinhua/Zhang Chaoqun)
