China's Zheng Qinwen back in Grand Slam third round at US Open

NEW YORK, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- China's Zheng Qinwen beat Yulia Putintseva of Kazakhstan 6-4, 2-6, 6-1 at the US Open on Thursday, reaching the third round of a Grand Slam for the first time since the 2025 French Open.

Zheng will next face 22nd-seeded American Madison Keys.
