Dressed in ethnic splendor, Chinese and American youths sing and dance together

A group of 16 Chinese and American university students, participating in the "Across the Pacific: China-U.S. Youth Dialogue for a Shared Future" exchange program, visited Yunnan Ethnic Village in Kunming, capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province on July 16, 2026.

The program, jointly organized by the China International Communications Group Center for the Americas and the U.S.-based International Student Conference, aims at boosting people-to-people exchanges between China and the U.S. through youth engagement.

During the trip, Chinese and American youths immersed themselves in Yunnan's ethnic culture by donning traditional ethnic costumes. Dressed in vibrant folk attire, they sang and danced together, sharing joy and bridging cultural gaps in this lively experience.
