Chinese vice premier holds video call with British chancellor of the exchequer on economic, financial cooperation
BEIJING, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng on Thursday held a video call with British Chancellor of the Exchequer John Healey focused on enhancing economic and financial cooperation between the two countries.
He, who leads the Chinese side to the China-UK Economic and Financial Dialogue, said the two sides should jointly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the economic and financial fields, respect each other's core interests, achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, and promote stable and positive development of bilateral economic relations.
Healey, who is also the British head of the dialogue, said the British side is willing to enhance dialogue and cooperation with China in economic and financial fields, and promote the continuous development of UK-China relations.
