13th APEC Tourism Ministerial Meeting held in Macao
MACAO, June 27 (Xinhua) -- The 13th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Tourism Ministerial Meeting convened on Saturday at the China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform Complex in the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR).
The meeting, with the theme "Digital Innovation, Collaborative Empowerment: Leveraging Tourism for an Asia-Pacific Community," features discussions on sector development and pathways for tourism cooperation across the Asia-Pacific region.
The Macao SAR is hosting the APEC tourism ministerial meeting and the 67th APEC Tourism Working Group Meeting from Wednesday to Sunday.
As the host of the 2026 APEC, China will hold the 33rd APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province in November. Approximately 300 APEC-related meetings and events will take place in multiple Chinese cities throughout the year.
