China responds to clarifications by Honduras on ties with Taiwan region

BEIJING, June 25 (Xinhua) -- A Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said on Thursday China has noticed the clarifications made by the government of Honduras that Honduras is not engaged in talks or contact with the Taiwan authorities to "restore diplomatic relations."

Spokesperson Guo Jiakun made the remarks at a daily press briefing, adding this shows once again upholding the one-China principle is recognized internationally as the right thing to do.
