The total revenue of China's science fiction industry in 2025 reached 126.1 billion yuan ($18.05 billion), according to a report released by China Research Institute for Science Popularization recently. The report examines five core sectors of the industry: science fiction literature, films and TV shows, games, derivatives and themed tourism, while analyzing the sector's annual development trends and future prospects.
