Russia-China foreign policy coordination a stabilizing factor in global, regional affairs: Russian spokesperson
MOSCOW, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- Foreign policy coordination between Russia and China acts as a stabilizing factor in global and regional affairs, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said Wednesday.
Answering a question from Xinhua at a regular press briefing, Zakharova said Russia and China, acting in line with the guidance of the leaders of the two countries, are consistently strengthening foreign policy coordination, which is a key component of bilateral ties.
Commenting on Japan, Zakharova said Russia has repeatedly stated that Japan is moving toward remilitarization.
She added that Russia will continue to closely monitor the situation in the region and reserves the right to take necessary measures to prevent damage to its interests and security in the Asia-Pacific region.
