Chinese, U.S. business communities urged to promote steady economic, trade relations

BEIJING, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- Senior Chinese political advisor Wang Yong on Thursday called on the Chinese and U.S. business communities to deepen practical cooperation to promote the steady, long-term development of China-U.S. economic and trade relations.
Wang, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, made the remarks when addressing the annual appreciation dinner of the American Chamber of Commerce in the People's Republic of China (AmCham China) in Beijing.
He noted that in 2025, China and the United States undertook constructive dialogues and interactions under the strategic guidance of their heads of state, injecting stability into bilateral relations.
He said China will steadfastly deepen its reform, expand its opening up and advance its innovation. It will also continuously unleash growth vitality through high-quality development, which will provide a big stage for enterprises from countries including the United States.
Approximately 400 representatives of the two countries' political and business circles attended the event.
