Over 30 armed rebels killed in central India

NEW DELHI, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Indian security personnel killed more than 30 armed Naxals rebels in the central state of Chhattisgarh on Wednesday, the state's Home Minister Vijay Sharma said.
Among those killed was Naxals' leader Nambala Keshav Rao, alias Basav Raj, who carried a bounty of 10 million Indian rupees (around 116,877 U.S. dollars) on his head.
One security personnel was killed and another was injured during the operation, added the official.
