Chinese vice premier meets Kazakh deputy PM

BEIJING, March 29 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang met with Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Murat Nurtleu in Beijing on Friday.

Ding, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, said under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, the relationship between China and Kazakhstan has reached a historical height of permanent comprehensive strategic partnership.

He called on the two countries to comprehensively implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state and build a closer China-Kazakhstan community of shared future to better benefit the two countries and their people.

With high-quality Belt and Road cooperation as the main focus, China is ready to work with Kazakhstan to deepen cooperation in economy, trade, investment, energy and other fields, said Ding, calling on the two sides to optimize interconnectivity, create new growth areas for cooperation, enhance the level of people-to-people and cultural cooperation, and push for greater outcomes in practical cooperation.

Nurtleu said that developing relation with China is a priority of Kazakhstan's diplomacy and Kazakhstan is willing to maintain close exchanges and cooperation with China to achieve greater development in bilateral relations.
