Bamboo industry boosts rural revitalization in county of E China's Jiangxi

Villagers recently sun-dried bamboo strips at a bamboo processing base in Qingshui village, Guangchang county, east China's Jiangxi Province.

By leveraging its moso bamboo forests covering over 200,000 mu (13,333 hectares), Guangchang county has established a bamboo sector industrial chain covering the planting, processing and sales of moso bamboos in recent years.

This has converted ecological resources into economic resources, increased forest farmers' incomes, and provided jobs for many local villagers. It has turned moso bamboos into a prosperous industry that boosts rural revitalization.
