

On May 16, the 2018 Tourism Promotion Conference on Hunanese Visiting Turpan and the Launching Ceremony of “Xiangjiang” Special Tourist Train were held in Changsha. On that afternoon, the first train accommodating 738 Hunan passengers departed from Hengyang, Hunan to Turpan.
The train is scheduled to arrive in Turpan on May 23, when an arrival ceremony will be held. The passengers will visit scenic spots including Jiaohe Ruins, Grape Valley, Karez, and the Mountain of Flames, to learn about Turpan’s rich history and culture, and magnificent sceneries.
Between May and October, the special train will be operated for three times in every month. From May 1, 2018 to April 30, 2019, 40%-off train ticket are on sale.
