Changsha Subway Launches Three-day Tickets

A series of themed activities on 2018 of Changsha Subway 2018 were officially launched last week. At the ceremony, the Changsha Subway launched one-day and three-day tickets, and announced that it will increase operating trains and further shorten waiting time.

Themed “Impression of Changsha”, the first edition of one-day and three-day subway tickets are designed based on historical and cultural elements such as the images of Youth Mao Zedong Statue on Orange Isle, Tianxin Pavilion, and Aiwan Pavilion. The one-day ticket isd priced at 15 CNY, and three-day ticket 40 CNY. Once the one-day and three-day ticket cards are activated on first check-in, passengers may enjoy unlimited travel by subway within 24 hours and 72 hours respectively. The newly introduced tickets greatly facilitate the travel of visitors from outside Changsha. From now on, passengers can purchase such tickets at customer service centers of the Kaifu District Government Station of Changsha Subway Line 1, and Changsha South Railway Station, Changsha Railway Station, Wuyi Square Station, Juzizhou (Orange Isle) Station, Wangchengpo Station of Changsha Subway Line 1.

The speed increase will shorten the minimum running interval of Subway Line 1 trains to 5 minutes 58 seconds, and the minimum running interval of Subway Line 2 trains to 4 minutes and 11 seconds.
