
78 graduates of Xi'an Gaoxin No. 1 High School graduating in 2017 have been admitted to Peking University (PKU) and Tsinghua University (Tsinghua), ranking first in Shaanxi Province. This marks a record number of graduates of the school admitted by the universities after 58 and 70 admitted in 2015 and 2016 respectively.
Over the past 22 years since its founding, the school has cultivated 13 Shaanxi number one liberal arts scholars and science scholars in the national college entrance exam, ranking first in Shaanxi. Besides, each year the school has more than 100 graduates admitted to world-renowned universities like University of Chicago, Duke University, University of California Berkeley, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London and McGill University.
