On February 26, Li Yi, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xi'an Municipal Committee, Secretary of the CPC Xincheng District Committee and Secretary of the Party Work Committee of Xi'an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone (XDZ), met a delegation led by Zhang Zhihong, Director of the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center, Ministry of Science & Technology.

In XDZ, the delegation surveyed Xi'an Maker Demonstration Block, CAS Star Maker Space and Xi'an Software Park. During the survey, he inquired about the construction and development of maker spaces in Xi'an, and spoke highly of the construction of maker spaces in XDZ.
