On January 18, ofo announced its plan to land in Xi'an: As of the date, 6,000 shared bicycles will first be placed in high-traffic sections such as Xi’an High-Tech Industries Development Zone (XHTZ) and Xiaozhai, and each bicycle will be charged RMB1 per hour.

ofo Shared Bicycle is a shared bicycle platform with the largest scale and widest coverage in China. So far it has provided travel services to over 10 million users in 33 Chinese cities.

ofo planned to place a total of 150,000 bicycles in Xi'an.
