In 2016, the project of public bicycles put into use in Xi’an High-Tech Industries Development Zone (XHTZ) was successfully completed, with the number of public bicycles reaching 2,490. This action played a very active role in pollution control, smog reduction, and the easing of traffic pressure.

In 2016, the number of newly built sites was 57, the number of expanded sites was 32, and the number of sites with turnstiles was 3 in XHTZ. Sites were also set up in Comprehensive Bonded Zone, the surrounding area of Chuanghui Community, New Software City and other such remote areas.
