On December 8, ZTE Optronics Project and ZTE Welink Software Project were anchored in Xi’an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone. Shangguan Jiqing, Mayor of Xi’an City and Yin Yimin, Chairman of ZTE Holdings Co., Ltd., Executive Director of ZTE Corporation, and General Manager of Terminal Business Department of ZTE Corporation, attended the conference and gave a speech. Zhao Hongzhuan, member of Standing Committee of Xi’an Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xi’an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone and Lv Jian, member of Standing Committee of Xi’an Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Xi’an City, attended the signing ceremony.

Since 2008, many projects of ZTE have been anchored in Xi’an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone. Through this signing of a contract between ZTE and Xi’an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone, the total investment of ZTE terminal series projects amounted to RMB1 billion. It is estimated that the revenue will be up to RMB10 billion within eight years, offering hundreds of positions in high-end R&D in Xi’an.
