Wang Yongkang, member of Standing Committee of Shaanxi Provincial Committee and Secretary of Xi’an Municipal Committee, made an investigation in Xi’an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone on December 15.

During his investigation in Samsung China Semiconductor Co., Ltd., Xi’an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xi’an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone Exhibition Hall and Xi’an Maker District, Wang Yongkang pointed out that Xi’an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone should make great efforts to promote the construction of two national free trade zones – “All-round Innovation and Reform Pilot Area” and “National Independent Innovation Demonstration Area.” Moreover, he put forward suggestions from six aspects for building Xi’an into the innovation capital in the “One Belt, One Road” initiative.
