Established in March 2006, Xinyuan Literary Association is a literature club of Xi’an Gaoxin No.1 High School, with a 10-year history.
Over the past ten years, club members have issued more than 300 articles in newspapers and magazines, such as Xi’an Evening News, Huashang Newspaper · Essay for Students, Chinese Weekly, Chinese Loose-leaf Selections, and Essay. Teachers and students of Xinyuan Literary Association edited and published the three-volume Chinese school-based readings. Moreover, they created and published a number of well-received collections, such as Xinyuan Tabloid, A Waft of Fragrance, Young Dream Chaser, Sailing 2018, and Charm of Books.

Xinyuan Literary Association won “National Advanced Club for the Construction of Campus Culture”. School-based Readings Series won the first prize in terms of school-based readings. Club instructor Liu Shuqin won “National Advanced Individual for the Construction of Campus Culture”.
In September 2015, Xinyuan Literary Association set up four branches, namely Reading Club, Dubbing Club, Recitation Club, and Poetry Club.
