Pretoria Sep 9 (People's Daily Online) - A series of exhibitions, dialogues and workshops on intangible cultural heritage are going to be held this month across South Africa to celebrate the China Heritage Month, as it has kicked off in the Kara Heritage Institute in Pretoria on Thursday.
As a part of the day’s program, a China-Africa Dialogue on Thoughts and a Workshop on Comparative Intangible Heritage of China and South Africa were held. Scholars and professionals from the two countries had conversations on a variety of topics including African Heritage, Ubuntu and other traditional African thoughts, Confucian Thoughts and other traditional Chinese thoughts, and intangible cultural heritage preservation.
The Chinese Performing Art Troupe is going to perform in the Gauteng Carnival Parade on 24 September, the Heritage Day.
