Photos show 60-year-old Zhu Songlin’s fossil restoration work at the Chongqing Museum of Natural History. As the director of the museum's earth science department, Zhu has been working on the restoration of vertebrates and archaic human archaeological excavation for some 40 years. He currently leads a seven-member team.
“Every skeleton and each footprint can tell a vivid story about a dinosaur family. Our work is to collect fossils from among other rocks and put the fossils together into a complete skeleton. We are like beauticians,” Zhu explained. (Photo/People’s Daily Online)
