U.S.-SAN FRANCISCO-CHINA-XI'AN-DIRECT FLIGHT

SAN FRANCISCO, May 9, 2016 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Consul General in San Francisco Luo Linquan (5th R), United Airlines' vice president of Atlantic and Pacific sales Marcel Fuchs (4th R) and other guests cut the ribbon for the United's inaugural nonstop flight from San Francisco to China's Xi'an at the San Francisco International Airport, United States, on May 8, 2016. United Airlines celebrated the launch of new nonstop flights from U.S. west coast city San Francisco to Chinese western city Xi'an at the San Francisco International Airport on Sunday. The three-times-weekly seasonal service, the first trans-Pacific service to Xi'an, will be operational between May 8 and Oct. 27, 2016. (Xinhua/Liu Yilin)
