Recently the news about a contestant who wore 1 million yuan worth of gold jewelries when attending a talent show has triggered a heated discussion.
Dafeng is a 37-year-old single woman from Linxi, east China's Shandong province. She is the owner of two gold jewelry stores, one electric bike dealer, a big condo, two houses and a car. Recently she took part in a talent show at a TV station, wearing 18 gold necklaces, 20 gold bracelets, 6 rings, 10 pendants, and a pair of gold earrings.
Her performance was actually quite good and defeated her opponent in a round.
